Public space for everyone

RAUM

A different view of
public space

RAUM is the cultural meeting square on the Berlin Square in Utrecht, where art, design and city life come together. The organization brings people from different worlds together to build an inclusive, vibrant city.

With projects, programs and interventions such as the Pop-up Parking Service, the Walking Club of City Readers and the exhibition Dreams Without Thresholds, that make public space accessible and connecting, RAUM is a pioneer in creative placemaking. To bring this role to wider attention, RAUM engaged Blyde Benelux for strategic PR.

Blyde Benelux helped RAUM increase their visibility and strengthen their role as thought leader in creative placemaking. With targeted storytelling, strong social brackets and a journalistic approach, we brought inspiring initiatives such as The Walking Club of City Readers, Dreams Without Thresholds and The Pop-up Parking Service to the attention. This is how we strengthened Raum's reputation as an organization that makes new connections in the city possible through creativity.

From local
meeting place
to national
visibility

The press programs around Raum's initiatives provided broad visibility and valuable media attention. They have published in leading national media such as de Volkskrant, NRC, Trouw and the AD, as well as regional titles and radio and cultural agendas across the country. This is how we strengthened the visibility of RAUM as the cultural platform that shows how art and co-creation can connect the city with creative placemaking.
