Go Ocean can count on one year of pro bono guidance from Blyde Benelux
As part of its 10th anniversary, Blyde Benelux will guide the Ghent ocean restoration organization Go Ocean free of charge in 2026 in the areas of strategy, PR and communication.

Ten years of Blyde Benelux. We celebrate this not only by looking back, but also by looking ahead. In honor of our anniversary, we made room for an additional pro bono partnership, on top of the pro bono trajectories that we are already carrying out structurally. Through a open call came Go Ocean as our new partner by 2026. Throughout the year, we use our expertise in strategy, PR and communication for this Ghent-based organization that works to restore coastlines and marine ecosystems worldwide.
Making invisible crises visible
The problems below the ocean surface are difficult for most people to comprehend, but they are urgent. For example, as much as 90 percent of the global fish population is overfished, with drastic consequences for all underwater life. Go Ocean makes these invisible crises visible and tangible. Through locally based biodiversity projects, from seagrass fields in the Belgian North Sea to coral reefs in Indonesia and mangrove forests in Madagascar, they work to preserve and restore the Earth's blue lung. With measurable results via our own monitoring platform.
Together, a bigger voice for the ocean
As a B Corp certified agency, we believe business can be a force for good. GooOcean's mission fits in seamlessly with that. With targeted PR, we want to help Go Ocean encourage companies, foundations and individuals to take action for ocean restoration.
“Go Ocean does exactly what we stand for as an agency. In the coming year, we will use our expertise to strengthen their mission and get as many people and organizations as possible moving to protect our oceans.”
Marlous van den Hoogen, PR & Communications Lead Belgium at Blyde Benelux
“Together with Blyde, we want to show what's happening below the ocean surface and inspire people to take action. We also hope to reach companies and foundations that want to work with us so that we can collectively improve ocean health.”
