Fair play starts with honest conversations
Let's Play Equal is a taboo-breaking board game that encourages conversations about diversity, inclusion and equality in the workplace. Blyde Benelux developed this together with partners, provided the launch and media attention and thus contributed to the transition to a more nuanced and inclusive work culture.
Although organizations are increasingly talking about JEDI (justice, equity, diversity & inclusion), only 27% of Dutch organizations actually have policies for diversity and inclusion. Many conversations remain superficial or evasive, while real change starts with openness and confrontation with uncomfortable truths.
The most unfair
game in the world
Along with BR-ND People, Greenjobs.nl and Misteli Creative Agency [MB1] over the course of three years, we developed the board game Let's Play Equal — The Most Unfair Game in the World.
Supported by agencies such as B Lab Benelux, Fronteer and Rainbow Collection, we created a game that challenges organizations, confronts participants with their prejudices and increases social position and awareness about JEDI. The gaming experience initiates internal conversations and supports organizations in embedding broad-based diversity and inclusion ideas.
The strategic launch took place during a cruise in Amsterdam, linked to the B for Good Leaders Summit 2023, and in parallel, we launched a PR campaign. Since then, we have been supervising a Let's Play Equal session at various organizations almost every week.
