What we have done

SoCheeze lowers the threshold to plant-based diet  

SoFine Foods, a pioneer in tofu since 1963, develops and produces plant-based products. Their mission? To make innovative plant-based products that aren’t just responsible, sustainable and environmentally friendly, but that actually taste good too. A plant-based lifestyle can decrease the global emission of CO2 with 73% (source: Science Magazine). The company strives to ‘eat’ the world a little bit more beautiful through plant-based recipes and introduces the SoCheeze ‘feta’ cubes in Belgium in 2019. In doing so, SoFine wants to provide people with a better alternative to cheese, the number one product that consumers would miss the most with a plant-based diet. The plant-based ‘feta’ cheese cubes based on organic soy contain less saturated fats and salt than feta cheese and, therefore, are better for cholesterol levels. The oil in which the cubes are stored can be used as a dressing or to bake with. The packaging of SoCheeze is reusable and recyclable. 

Consumers are increasingly changing their eating habits in favor of the environment. One out of ten Belgians is flexitarian and the consumption of meat replacements has increased with 40 percent over the last three years. With SoCheezeSoFine wants to make plant-based eating easier for consumers, who are increasingly adapting their eating habits and want to eat plant-based, and encourage a plant-based lifestyle. That’s where Blyde comes in to underline SoFine’s role as plant-based pioneer and to succesfully launch SoCheeze on the Belgian market.

To emphasize SoFine’s role as plant-based pioneer – leading by example. Inspiring content creation for owned, earned and paid media. Recipe development + food photography, corporate- and lifestyle media messaging and approach, launch event lifestyle media and influencers, SoCheeze press mailing journalists & influencers, influencer collaborations, setting up media content deals. Result: combined reach free publicity: 9,5 million. Media value publications: 950k. Campaign size – L.

Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. Establish sustainable management and efficient usage of natural resources. Taking the growing world population into account, the production of our goods should be much more useful: “produce more using less”.
